Job Description Our Seattle, Honolulu, Southern California and Northern California offices are currently in need of a Senior Project Manager to assist with high profile contaminated sediments projects in the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii and throughout North America. The location is flexible and other AECOM offices throughout the US could be considered for the right candidate. Position Description: - 1 5 to 20 years of experience in the Management and preparation of sediment characterization assessments and feasibility studies for cleanup of complex sediment sites. Seller Doer capabilities to pursue and manage projects and programs in the $5-$10 million range. - Regular client and regulatory communication relating to project management, technical issues, and cleanup strategies. - Preparation of CERCLA and state led RI/FS and Remedial Design documents Requirements: Degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline (Masters degree preferred) More than 15 years relevant experience, including large project management experience with an engineering consulting firm. Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, the following: Management of large complex risk-based remediation-oriented projects where terrestrial, river, lake, and marine issues may be present. - Experience working with senior decision environmental makers with large corporations, municipalities, ports and harbors and other potential clients with sediment contamination issues. Technical experience related to evaluation of remedial alternatives for CERCLA and state led feasibility studies, remediation design and construction oversight projects Experience with evaluation and implementation of contaminated sediment dredging, capping and natural recovery projects. Modeling to support remedial analyses or specialized knowledge, such as bioavailability in sediment. Excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills; these are collaborative team-oriented offices, so strong interpersonal skills are a must.
