The Center for Musculoskeletal Care (CMC), a comprehensive new outpatient facility, is set to open early in 2012. CMC brings our spine, sports medicine, autoimmune diseases, arthritis, total joint replacement, pain management, and rehabilitation (physiatry and physical therapy/occupational therapy) services together under one roof. It also integrates our biomedical research and clinical practice efforts so that bone and joint patients can access clinical care and participate in groundbreaking research at a single facility.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Practice Manager. The successful candidate will be accountable for the CMC operations of the office practice and exam area (Sports, Total Joints/Spine or Orthopedics). This includes maintenance of adequate resources, including staff; development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems for smooth patient flow; and management of the environment and supplies. Excellent communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will preferably hold a BS in administration or a health-related field along with 2 years experience in the operation of physician/ambulatory care practice. Must comply with regulatory requirements (i.e. Joint Commission) appropriate for this position. Computer proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to establish collaborative relationships are required.
