My client a radical IT Consultancy are currently looking for an experienced Practice Manager to take over leading and managing the Custom Consulting division.
You will drive and win client facing consultancy engagements and internal initiatives delivery of consulting projects. You will be expected to prepare and present high quality client facing and internal collateral. Perform risk based project management and analysis within initiatives both internally and with clients whilst Contributing to the sales pipeline either directly or indirectly based on prior experience in consultancy and existing network within the city
Experience:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with evidence of internal or external consulting
- The highest levels of rigour
- Established network of senior contacts within top financial houses and organisations
- Evidence of winning substantial consulting engagements
- Ability to generate leads through to closing out sales through trusted advisor relationships
- Excellent people skills and experience in people management
- A strong industry knowledge of the electronic trading arena across Fixed Income, Equities and FX (Front office, real time, electronic trading)
- Evidence of strong analytical skills
- Substantial experience in investment banking, working for or with Tier 1 banks, large brokers etc. Ideally, candidates will have experience in consulting either internally for a large financial house or for one of the financial consultancies
- Interest, experience and strong demonstrable ability in at least one business asset class
- Awareness of the technical background required for developing or integrating low latency, front office systems
- Structured approach to managing assignments and will have experience in structuring, planning, driving and delivering small to medium size projects at speed
