Practice Manager/Lead – IT Consultancy
The consultancy engagements range in scope from broad program structure and delivery mechanisms to detailed ‘health checks’ on current technology infrastructure, with a focus on squeezing efficiencies from existing technology, particularly when the best way for the electronic trading community to move forward is to collaborate – reaching common ground upon aspects of trading that are not part of competitive advantage.
With a client base predominantly comprising of Tier 1 global investment banks, the key responsibilities will include;
Driving and winning consultancy engagements; Delivery of bespoke consulting solutions (60%); Risk based project management and Analysis with clients; Contributing to the sales pipeline (either directly or indirectly) and assisting in driving the company forward strategically.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will demonstrate the following as a minimum;
Substantial experience in investment banking, working for or with Tier 1 banks, large brokers etc.; An established network of senior contacts within top financial houses and organisations; Evidence of winning substantial consulting engagements; A demonstrated ability to generate leads through to closing out sales; A strong industry knowledge of the real time electronic trading arena across Fixed Income, Equities and FX; Experience and strong demonstrable ability in at least one business asset class; An acute understanding of the technical background required for developing or integrating low latency, front office systems and of course, a structured approach to managing assignments (planning, driving and delivering small to medium size projects at speed)
