Hays Healthcare is working with the Ministry Of Defence to find flexible and experienced Practice Nurses at band 5 6 level to support the British Forces throughout the UK.
The roles will be covering Army, Air Force and Navy bases all over the country with accommodation and expenses available. If you are a practice nurse with the flexibility to travel and want to give something back to the men and women who keep our shores safe, then this is the role for you.
You will be expected to;
- To work autonomously in providing nursing and pre hospital emergency care to the medical centre residents.
- Be responsible for the provision of clinical treatment, screening and advice to patients
- Provide general medical services and occupational health elements to military personnel
- Maintain professional registration and personal portfolio
- Be competent in Immunisation, Audiology, Venepuncture, Asthma and Diabetes management, etc.
Previous Experience in a similar role is Essential. You must hold full NMC membership and be eligible to work in the UK
MoD Experience would be an advantage.
