Practice Support Facilitator Job in New York, New York Us

We have an immediate need for a Practice Support Facilitator for a position at a prestigious hospital/school of medicine in Manhattan. The Practice Support Facilitator - Epic Systems, manages the practice (account) relationship, the training of EPIC applications across all Faculty Group Practices/Voluntary Practices and provides user support of application after installation. The Practice Support Facilitator will perform user training and work with operational staff and physicians in the Faculty Group Practice/voluntary practices to facilitate operational capabilities of the EPIC system. The Practice Support Facilitator works closely with on site practice managers, coordinators, medical center EPIC teams, and, clinical department leadership. The ideal candidate must understand and improve on workflows using the Epic systems.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Acting as primary point of contact for assigned practices, gathering and documenting practice data, understanding their workflow and managing day to day practice activities involving the Epic implementation.
- Training system users including clinical, support and administrative staff in the operational use of EPIC during both implementation and post-deployment. Training new functionality as needed across the Faculty Group Practices/Voluntary Physicians.
- Developing and maintaining application training materials for both the trainers and the end-users.
- Assisting in the development of the core training curriculum (IT Training), as well as the operational training curriculum.
- Working with EPIC and IT department to resolve application issues.
- Working with management teams to deploy, implement and enhance all EPIC systems including, but not limited to referrals, registration, scheduling, medical records and billing.
- Liaising with IT Services team to ensure appropriate use of resources for the completion of the EPIC implementation.
- Participating in user groups to improve the use of the EPIC systems.
- Troubleshooting and triaging hardware and software problems to the appropriate IT Services personnel and following up, if third party assistance is needed.
- Serving as the primary training support contact for Faculty Group Practice leadership and coordinating all training questions and issues that arise during the project for each business unit within the application areas.
- Creating and fostering a working relationship with assigned Practices and ensures that practice issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
- Identifying and recommending opportunities for retraining.
- Partnering with IT, IT Trainers and IT Analysts on the coordinator of all aspects of the implementation.
- Managing training with the IT department
- Overseeing helpdesk support for Faculty Group and Voluntary Practices.
- Participating in implementation meetings and reporting and updating Director/team, as appropriate.
- Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. Three to five years of successful experience in physician practice management and/or associated revenue cycle system applications. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines is required.
