Impact Scope
The Regional Director is responsible for driving top line growth beyond target. The Regional Director manages the team of Business Developers to execute strategies to meet or exceed all performance goals, including sales, relationship management, net enrollments, and average class size. The Regional Director executes the Territory Vice President’s strategies to achieve desired business results.

Leadership
·Develop an effective business development team by providing ethical leadership, training, coaching and development
·Drive top line results by implementing strategy for regional marketing activities
·Provide ongoing management, coaching, and development of team
·Support and communicate Kaplan goals and initiatives to improve sales results, support the brand, and grow revenue.

·Manage Business Developers to deliver key performance metrics: sales, revenue, and lead growth
·Devise on-the-ground tactics and training for Business Developers, including event scheduling, local relationships, grass roots marketing, and sales
·Identify market prospects and focus on areas with the greatest improvement opportunities
·Collaborate with Territory Vice President to prioritize and evaluate new market opportunities
·Communicate and implement company-wide strategy, initiatives, and programs
·Manage adherence to Company policy and compliance activities
·Take an active (in some markets primary) role in the execution of sales, marketing, and promotional programs
·Initiate and negotiate contracts with organizations resulting in individual or group sales
·Forge relationships with local schools, families, organizations, and community leaders

Knowledge, Skills Abilities
·Exhibit excellent financial decision making and ability to deliver results
·Demonstrate expertise in Kaplan’s products, program delivery, and insight into the competition
·Be able to expertly and aggressively market and sell Kaplan’s brand and products to prospective students, parents, organizations, and community leaders
·Hire, train, manage, and develop a high performing staff
·Ability to facilitate effective presentation and sales training
·Interpret competitive information; develop strategies and tactics to respond to market changes
·Have project management and budgeting expertise; excellent time management and organizational skills
·Able to forecast and set both business and professional goals; can train Business Developers in those skills
·Entrepreneurial spirit
·Ability to work effectively in a dispersed workforce

Requirements
·Bachelor’s Degree required
·Masters preferred
·Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, to meet business objectives
·Must be willing to travel throughout the region
·Must be authorized to work in the US
