This is an exciting opportunity to join a European venture capital investor with global reach. With significant funds under management, our client focuses on minority early stage investments as either lead or co lead in a variety of business areas including med tech, life science, clean tech water, materials science and automotive. It is an ambitious and growing fund. It has a maturing portfolio and is expecting a number of successful exits during 2011. You’ll be joining the fund as a senior member of the investment team. Since this is a partner track role, you will be expected to originate opportunities, lead the due diligence, complete the investment, and then monitor its portfolio all the way to an exit.
You will have:
- Worked in a venture capital fund previously
- A background in science (preferably in material sciences or engineering)
