Harrington Starr are currently partnered with an international Interdealer Broker who are currently looking to hire a Presales Consultant who specialises in FIX connectivity.
If you are fortunate enough in order to be selected for the Pre-Sales role you will be expected to carry out the following duties on a daily basis:
* Providing support to the sales team with software demonstrations and the on-boarding of clients
* Managing Client connectivity
* Managing Network connectivity
* Attending client meetings in order to properly respond to RFI's
* Once the software has been installed provide support to clients
The Pre-Sales Consultant will have the opportunity to help provide design and provide Exchange connectivity and FIX solutions to client platforms. Not only will your technical ability be tested to the full extent, but you will be immediately adding value to Sales teams surrounding DMA and Emerging Markets. This is the ultimate opportunity to increase your aptitude for every aspect of a Financial Services Technology role, utilising client facing, technical and business skills on a daily basis.
In order to successfully apply for the Pre-Sales role, you must have the following skills:
* An excellent understanding of the capital markets is essential
* A high proficiency in FIX 4.2 and 4.4 is a must
* An understanding of DMA and emerging markets
* Previous experience in a client facing role, preferably Pre-Sales
* The ability to work well under pressure
