Pre Sales

Client Technical Specialists are technical consultants to clients, IBM sales teams and/or IBM Business Partners. They understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. They provide technical sales support which may include: collaborate with IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions; deliver Proof of Concept; develop and deliver technical education; support critical situations; design solutions; and answer technical questions. When engaged for a specific opportunity or project, they are responsible for the technical accuracy of the proposed solution.

The Role:

 

This is an opportunity for a proactive and experienced Credit subject matter expert to use their extensive industry knowledge to support the pre-sales stages of business development, qualification and demonstration. Key to this role is the ability to articulate the business benefits of the Algo solutions and how these meet specific client requirements and improve their risk infrastructure. We are looking for a confident and articulate individual, with an appetite for travel, that can engage with all levels of client representatives and confidently present the key benefits our solutions offer

Solution expert for products comprising the Algo Credit Lifecycle Solution which provides an end-to-end solution for credit limit initiation, approval and exposure management for the global financial institution

Help define the market selling propositions for the solution, key messaging and competitor differentiators.

Take responsibility for the product, technical and implementation specific aspects of the bid strategy as well as assisting with responses to RFIs

Preparation of proposals and presentation of the proposed solution to clients

Accountable for the effective use of resources to aid the effectiveness of sales engagements and effective management of the pre-sales process while responsibly managing the cost of pre-sales and use of resource budgets.

Responsible for ensuring proposed solutions are achievable, profitable and realistic given client requirements

Working with product management colleagues to help identify market trends and functionality to aid ongoing market appeal and saleability

Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed company revenue targets: prospects and solution qualification, content and product expertise

Capturing customer requirements, advising and assisting the implementation team in the provision of design and implementation requirements
