Pre-Sales Consultant: The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for all pre-sales activities within the region. The role’s main responsibility will be introducing our client’s product/services offering and provide product demonstrations – functionality, performance, system architecture, system requirements etc. – by interfacing with prospective and current customers, distributors and partners and recommend system solutions that ensure the optimum usage and utilization of our client's products and services as well as the co-development and the implementation of the pre-sales strategy in the region, including covering all pre-sales services to current and prospective clients, distributors, and partners to facilitate and enable sales, deployment and support of our client’s products and services through effective teamwork with the rest of the organization.

- Conduct the pre-sales phase by introducing our client’s product/services offering and provide product demonstrations – functionality, performance, system architecture, system requirements etc. – by interfacing with prospective and current customers, distributors and partners and recommend system solutions that ensure the optimum usage and utilization of our client's products and services.
- Improve processes and research methods used by our client and respond to the technical aspects of RFP’s, and ensure prompt and accurate replies to special/complicated technical or business inquiries from clients, distributors and partners.
- Make proposals on potential prospects and leads with regards to technical compatibility and feasibility, and when required, contribute to the development of the pre-sales strategy
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Strategy, Development, etc. to optimize and leverage any product/market/sales capabilities and build them into the short- and long-term pre-sales strategy.
- Present and contribute to customer calls and events, as necessary, to promote our client’s products and services.
- Stay current with market trends and observe functional and technical changes and advances.
Business Consultant: You are responsible for building up a broad range of expertise about our client’s product range or competition such as Avaloq, Odyssey, Temenos, SimCorp, FNS or Olympus. You will be dealing with prospects, customers, partners and our client’s internal product development while doing so.
You will advise their clients on the best way of implementing new business initiatives, help in pre- sales activities and will also be engaged in big implementation project but most importantly be the trusted advisor of our customer’s clients, the crème de la crème of European Private Banking and Wealth Management.
- Consult and support your customers in the use of our client’s Banking System.
- Participate in implementation projects and the delivery of their clients Banking System.
- Enhance our client’s Best Practice setup for Benelux with local requirements.
- Conduct training sessions for customers
- Help align client business requirements with the product functionality
- Participate in presales activities
- As and when necessary script in PL/SQL and ORACLE
- Prepare and conduct workshops and system demos with our Client’s Prospects and customers.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Expert level knowledge in Private Banking, Wealth Management and Investment Banking
- Avaloq or SimCorp or Odyssey certification, training and experience highly desirable
- Academic qualification (university or institute of higher education) in the field of Economics or IT or Banking qualification.
- Excellent command of French and English
- Client facing and relationship skills
- Superb presentation and report writing skills
- Professional experience of 7 or more years in Banking IT Applications (Private Banking, Wealth Management, and similar)
- Experienced in Business and Functional Analysis (for BC)
- Knowledge of Technical Financial Applications Design
- Enthusiasm for complex banking problems.
- Sound analytical skills and a high degree of quality awareness.
- Good communication skills and passion to work in teams
- Knowledge of the banking business and bank-related processes are a distinct advantage.
- Willingness to travel
- Outgoing personality, enjoy working with people from different cultures

- Superb presentation and audience management skills
Domain skills: Private Banking and Wealth Management
Sales skills: Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, this includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
Technical skills: Good knowledge of private/investment banking applications, computer hardware and software, including business processes (retail banking, asset management, custody etc.) and programming. PL/SQL and Oracle scripting for parameterization and configuration
Educational Proficiency level: Relevant university degree or post graduate degree from a prominent institution. Professional with generally a minimum 8 years of domain experience in a banking environment.
Languages: Fluent in French and English. German or Flemish or Dutch added plus
