Pre-sales consultant required to join a leading provider of latency monitoring and management solutions to the financial services community. This is a technical role working with a highly technical product suite that will involve pre and post sales responsibilities, supporting the sales process from start to finish and working on implementation projects.

My client is a specialist in low-latency technology with solutions that monitor and manage latency used in electronic trading with clients consisting of investment management, investment houses, financial market data providers and hedge funds.

To be successful in this role you will have come from a pre-sales (pre sales, technical sales, sales engineer) background and be highly accomplished in client facing tasks such as product demonstrations and consulting.

As a Pre-sales consultant - pre sales, sales engineer, technical sales, Presales, RFI, product demonstration, professional services, low-latency, latency monitoring - you will have the following responsibilities:

* Supporting the end to end sales process as a technical expert
* Preparing responses to the RFI / RFPs
* Turning qualified sales leads into business
* Providing client technical product demonstrations
* Helping to find solutions to specific client requirements using your knowledge of the technology and importance of low-latency in the electronic trading arena
* Working on client site to implement the solution
* Providing support to clients during the implementation process
* Building a knowledge base of competitor products and the overall low-latency landscape within financial services sector
* Offering input into how much client can improve their products, processes and drive the business forward
