My client, a leading provider of data integration and data quality software with a rising global presence, is actively seeking to add a bright and driven individual to fulfill a Pre-Sales Engineer role.

The company is a fast paced, rapidly growing enterprise software company.  Their pre-sales team has played a significant role in the remarkable growth the company has experienced through creative strategy and strong execution.

Responsibilities:
• Support technical pre-sales efforts for large global institutions including investment banks, hedge funds, and exchanges
• Present bespoke products to prospective customers. Includes answering detailed technical questions and providing thorough explanations of product internals
• Assist customers with initial product evaluation and performance testing
• Provide instruction and support for developers. Includes reviewing customer designs and providing advice and recommendations for optimal product use
• Troubleshoot network and application issues
• Provide architecture/design consulting

Required Skills:
• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience presenting to CTO/CIO-level, engineering managers, and programmers
• Experience supporting programmers (good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills)
• Good understanding of messaging-middleware technologies including IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS/RV, etc
• Strong background in TCP and UDP Networking protocols
• Understanding of RDMA networks protocols a plus (Infiniband, iWARP, OFED, etc)
• Ability to develop sample applications for PoC purposes as required by the client
• Programming experience in C, C++, Java, or .NET a strong plus
• Multi-threaded software experience a strong plus
