Pre-Sales – Enterprise Financial Technology recruitment

Excelsior has been engaged to identify a Pre-Sales professional to work on sales processes with our clients exciting and well established Middle to Back office enterprise financial solutions. You will work in concert with Sales Directors to understand the clients’ requirements, prepare and give extensive product demonstrations and workshops.

Our client is a market leader offering solutions which are now becoming the de facto standard replacing many legacy offerings Worldwide. Globally they already have a number of Tier one banking clients and they are involved in almost all key RFP / RFI processes you would expect a company of their standing to be involved with - so it is definitely an exciting time to be joining them.

You will be responsible for providing clients and sales executives with business and technical product advice, preparing RFI/ RFP response and proposals operating as the bid manager, effectively delivering software demonstrations to potential and existing clients, and being involved in closing business in conjunction with the sales team.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in conjunction with Sales Directors to close business opportunities

Build and present customized demonstrations of the solutions

In conjunction with the Sales Directors, develop an in-depth understanding of the customers business, structure, practices, challenges and requirements within the context of the customers’ business sector

Work with the Sales Directors to develop and maintain a long-term strategic plan which will benefit both the company and the clients

Liaison with other departments (e.g. Product Management, Implementation, Marketing, Development) to create a holistic and complete process with each client

Preferred Experience:


Substantial Pre Sales experience in enterprise level financial application software with proven experience in solution sales processes:

Expertise with Big Ticket / deal value Enterprise financial software in the Middle / Back Office is where someone is likely to come from to be successful in this role.

Specific domain expertise in any one of the following areas would be very advantageous:

Corporate Cash Management

High value Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)

Low Value / ACH payments

International Payments

Payables

Receivables

Liquidity management

SWIFT

Ability to develop proposals, demos and presentations for customers

Other expertise

Ability to present technical concepts in a clear manner to customers through demos and proposals

Ability to present solution to business and technology executives

Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills using the MS Office suite (emails, documents, presentations), with rigorous attention to detail

Strong presentation skills and public speaking

Excellent problem solving skills; ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets
