Being an organisation that encourages organic growth, a recent promotion has created the need to hire a new Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in Sydney.
- You will work with partner and customer sales reps to deliver solutions that deliver maximum product and service revenue
- You will perform in-depth and high-level solution presentations to customers, partners and event marketing
- You will take up account and partner management responsibilities for NSW
- As an experienced SE, you will help to create and implement strategic technical and business plans for targeted accounts, as well as defining and executing the engagement and enablement of partners
Required Skills:
- It is mandatory that you can demonstrate at least 5 years experience as a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, with some experience on Cloud infrastructure and/or Virtualization
- It is required that you have a high degree of technical awareness around Server, Networking, Linux, Storage, and Virtualization technologies
- Your product experience in the above technical areas should include: HP, IBM, Cisco, EMC, VMware, NetApp or HDS
- You will have a solid track record in selling solutions and/or services with experience in utilising value-based sales models (TCO/ROI studies, Business Case Development, Financial IT Selling models)
- It is required that you can demonstrate some experience in developing partner-based sales models, e.g., developing and enabling sales and solutions through OEM, SI/SO or Distribution Partner models
- Any programming skills with VBScript, Perl, Agile, Java and Spring would be a distinct advantage
- Above all, you must exhibit a professional, eloquent and consultative approach, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
