PRE-SALES/TECHNICAL CONSULTANT, Japan recruitment

The Pre-Sales Consultant will support the Sales Manager on proposals and solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet customers to understand user requirements, both business technical and prepare proposals.

• Deliver solution/value selling, including preparing of custom RoI cases for customers.

• Support sales in the tendering and bidding process.

• Present at marketing events.

• Identifies related needs (lead generation, opportunity expansion)

• Architects an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer's business requirements
Investigates and optimizes a solution's fit to the requirements of an opportunity, both current and future

• Anticipates some of the potential challenges for the proposed project plan

• Represents as technical expert with customers; shares knowledge in area of expertise and links to related technology areas

Requirement:

• Atleast 6 years of working experience in pre-sales ideally working for an IT Vendor working within GBFM(Global Banking Financial Markets) e.g. Ibanks, hedge funds etc.

• Working knowledge of Exchanges Financial Markets is imperative. For example, understanding of Market Data, Trading Infrastructure, Hosting, Low-Latency.

• Technically strong in IT Infrastructure (Network, Hosting, Co-location, Low Latency, etc)

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and conversational skills; positive in learning.

• Able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences.

• Strong analytical skills with ability to understand business processes and business problems.

• Ability to multi-task and be able to represent multiple subjects and products.
