Precision Assembler

POSITION SUMMARY

The associate is responsible for disassembly, inspection, and re-assembly of new and repaired automated control valve and quarter turn products in a rapid response, "quick ship" MRO environment. Repair products will be function tested, properly documented, and prepped for blasting and painting. Internal parts shall be prepped expeditiously for critical dimension checks and necessary machining. New and repaired equipment shall be assembled in an expeditious manner.

All equipment, including instrumentation, is tested through a series of seat, hydrostatic, and valve instrument diagnostics programs in adherence to strict quality guidelines.

 

 

PRINCIPLE REQUIREMENTS

* Associates are required to supply their own tools to perform job tasks, with general heavy duty and pneumatic tools being provided by the company.

* Must be willing to work overtime hours, especially during plant outages and scheduled turnarounds.

* Must possess a high school diploma or GED.  Associate degrees in instrumentation a plus.

* Associate should have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in control valve, valve automation, and instrumentation a plus.

* Must be able to read/interpret schematics

* Mechanical aptitude a must

* Must adhere to strict ISO and Safety guidelines

* Associate must possess basic computer skills
