Your knack for building relationships, as well as sourcing and following up on sales leads, will help set the stage as our exemplary premier business development manager. With a primary focus of building our profile in the emerging  markets you are quite comfortable networking with a diverse range of affluent customers with high investment complexity. You’re easily able to execute market strategy, acquire and develop new business and identify revenue opportunities. This will include sourcing new clients and working closely with our relationship managers to transition the business.

 

- Minimum of 2-3 years proven and progressive financial services and/or retail sales experience or equivalent, including evidence of strong sales results in financial services products and ability to close a sale.- Proven ability to sell and meet set sales / performance targets in a sales role.- Extensive experiences in face to face sales and ability to easily approach prospective clients.- Experience working with clients or customers from diverse cultural background with good understanding of different cultures and their financial behaviour.- Ability to contract useful information in a short frame of time in order to acquire the most qualified premier customers .- A full understanding of the Premier proposition, including the global service standards and experience of working with high net worth individuals.- Strong understanding of HSBC Group, including cross business awareness.- Completion of HSBC Way of Selling.- Completion of HSBC Premier Academy.- Knowledge of developing a networking strategy and proven ability to achieve sales targets.- Knowledge of competitor.- Accreditation in line with regulatory and compliance requirements where applicable.- Professional financial qualification preferred.- Advanced communication and customer service skills.- Excellent interpersonal skills to support the building of strong relationships with diverse groups of people.- Strong knowledge of HSBC�s products / services and competitive environment.- Strong knowledge of HSBC�s policies, practices, and procedures within own area. - Accreditation in line with regulatory and compliance requirements where applicable.- Professional financial qualification preferred.- Knowledge of regulations impacting personal financial services activities.- Advanced problem solving and conflict resolution skills.- Understands / speaks second language is an asset.- Willingness to be mobile in local community.- Strong selling, interpersonal and organizational skills, good team player. - Committed / Hardworking, entrepreneurial spirit.- Ability to self motivate and self evaluate. - Capacity to inspire trust.- Ability to negotiate to closure. Be able to effective / seamless handover of customer relationships to those with appropriate skills to manage them. - Customer driven with a strong focus on quality of service.
