This role will provide Premier Financial Planner advisory support to our Chatswood branch.

A high profile position, the Premier Financial Planner is responsible for developing and growing a healthy client base through providing specialist advice in areas of insurance, structured products, bonds, share trusts, managed funds, debentures, superannuation schemes, leverage borrowing and other investment business appropriate to our customers’ needs and objectives.

A strong sales performance requirement calls for a pro-active approach to business, at the same time adhering to procedures and controls. A high level of personal presentation and professionalism is required, with an emphasis on teamwork and building support and cross sells through our wide branch network.

Key responsibilities of a Premier Financial Planner include:

* Achievement of aggressive sales revenue targets.
* Cross referrals to Branch, and seeking referrals from existing clients in order to build/ maintain a portfolio.
* Cross sales of other HSBC products, in order to strengthen the client relationship.
* Maximizing revenues with appropriate rate of return and with minimal risk.
* Utilization of Sales Management system for MI recording.

In addition to showing experience in the above areas, candidate requirements for this vacancy include:

* A minimum of 3 - 5 years proven Financial Planning experience, including at a Premier level working with high new worth clients
* Demonstrated achievement of meeting sales and revenue targets
* RG 146 compliant

* Mandarin and Cantonese language skills
* Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines
* Extensive knowledge and exposure to the banking and / or wealth management industry
* Degree qualified
* Highly customer focused and results driven
* Highly organized and with strong administrative skills
