Premium Client Manager recruitment
IG Markets Singapore is looking to recruit Premium Client Manager to be based in Singapore.
The role of the Premium Client Manager is to provide excellent trade execution, account management, customer service to the ‘premium’ client base. Also to maximise retention, as well as, growing and improving IG’s business through; client referrals, networking and industry contacts.
This role requires the holder to be approved by the MAS.
Job responsibilities include:
Sales
- Ensure that allocated Premium clients are introduced/contracted regularly and managed effectively in such a way as to justify the value of the ‘premium’ service.
- Proactively enhancing business through client referrals, networking, workshops/seminars and industry contacts.
- Willingness and commitment to entertain clients both in, one to one and hospitality events.
- Maximise the retention of your premium clients
- Provide seminars and attend sales events for premium clients/prospects as required. This might include creating appropriate material in conjunction with marketing.
- Communicate in both English and Chinese
- Work alongside Market Strategist to provide market commentaries, and other PR functions as required.
Dealing duties
- Handling incoming dealing lines (volumes will be dictated by client activity and market volatility).
- Speed and efficiency of execution, attention to detail, accuracy and knowledge of market mechanics is expected in order to be able to efficiently carry out this role.
- Dealing for both your allocated and personally recruited clients as well as covering for colleagues’ client bases where necessary. This will also include non-dealing client queries.
Hospitality
- Proactively and frequently entertaining clients (and prospects) at various sporting and cultural events, this will include ‘out of hours’ commitment on evenings and weekends, as part of your relationships management expectations.
- It may occasionally be necessary to work on bank holidays although time off is earned in lieu for this.
Essential Criteria
- At least two years’ experience of derivative sales
- Excellent knowledge and experience of financial markets
- Educated to A level standard at least
- Highly numerate
- Good written and verbal ability in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to communicate with and develop relationships with clients
- Excellent telephone manner, interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
- Self-motivated and able to work at a consistently high standard
- Able to take proactive action when necessary
- A logical and analytical approach
- Able to work in a pressurised environment
- Very well organised with good time management skills
Desirable:
- Degree in a numerate subject
- CMFAS Modules 1B and 6A
- Worked in a financial dealing room
