Presales Consultant -Equity Electronic High Frequency Algo Trading recruitment

This position has to be filled by a talented, assertive and highly-motivated individual to join the EMEA Business Development Team to take responsibility for proactively driving and managing the technology evaluation aspect of the sales process and securing a technical product "win" in a coordinated effort with the sales team.

Candidate requirements:

• The successful individual has to be an over-achiever, passionate, driven by success, and does what it takes to help the Sales team exceed sales quota.
 

• Has the ability and capability to explain system concepts and associated business benefits to a technical and/or business audience.
 

• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
 

• Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline is desirable.
 

• Programming background and experience in JAVA, C# and/or C++ desirable

 • Understanding of Electronic Trading and the Financial Markets is a distinct advantage.
 

• The proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and present technology solutions in a business context to sales prospects and customers.
 

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in order to interact with your peers and prospects/customers
 

• Experience of working in a complex, enterprise sales environment
 

• Ability to be independent and work on own initiative when driving the “Technical Win”

Job profile:

The successful applicant will be responsible for pre-sales activity for the Financial Services sales team and take his/her share of responsibility for technically related presales activities including:

• Performing on site presentation and demonstrations of our range of  cutting edge products and solutions.
 

• Presenting software components and solutions directly to clients.
 

• Managing technical evaluations in synchronization with the Sales team in charge of the account
 

• Responding to RFPs and RFIs
 

• Promoting the organisation at trade shows and seminars
 

• Working closely with sales, consulting and technical support to ensure successful system deployment
 

• Providing input to product management with respect to future product development
