Presales Specialist – Market Data Services Provider recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Acting as product specialists and assist sales in the pre-sales process by answering questions regarding data and software offerings, conducting product demos as needed, and helping to identify the best combination of products to fit a prospect’s needs
• Conducting training, troubleshooting, answering product questions, and working on proof-of-concept projects to ensure that the client has the tools that will make the trial a success
• Connecting/configuring hardware, installing/configuring software and taking ownership of any technical problems by troubleshooting any issues that might come up, interfacing with the client’s technical support staff, and escalating when necessary
• Helping with SQL queries for clients. Guide them through the required logic and give input on what a client has done
• No individual sales target
Qualifications:
• Degree in a numerate discipline such as IT, Finance or Accounting
• Strong understanding of fundamental data is necessary.
• Familiarity with industry-leading financial data and delivery platform
• Formal training and/or experience in personal computer diagnostics, hardware/software problem-solving techniques (in both local network environments), and support processes
• Formal training and/or experience in personal computer diagnostics, hardware/software operations (in both local network environments), software (Excel, VBA, SQL), relational databases, and support techniques is also necessary
• Strong knowledge in SQL
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese
