President - Solid State Lighting Division
Our client has been in business for over 70 years and manufactures products in multiple industries. Their new business and commercial/industrial Solid-State Lighting Division (SSL) is a perfect complement to their existing product line and current customer base. This SSL Division needs a strong President with outstanding leadership, sales, analytical, and financial skills to take the company to the next level in sales success. In this role, you will offer sales leadership throughout the company, provide professional structure to a talented and motivated national sales team, and develop strategic plans for expansion.
This position should only be seriously considered by candidates who have demonstrated strong success in their previous executive sales roles and are ready to lead an established company through a significant growth phase. Profit Sharing participation rights will be a part of the total compensation package, along with a significant performance bonus.
Requirements
We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:
- BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience growing a sales organization
- Proven experience managing a successful national or international sales team
- Financial acumen required: PL, Budgeting, Forecasting, Gross Margin, Internal Rate of Return, etc.
- MBA preferred but not required
- Ability to travel nationwide
- Note: This will be a home based office position but relocation to the Headquarters location is offered if the candidate chooses
