POSITION DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY:
Specifically, Our Client is looking for qualified candidates who are proficient in Press Brake Operation. The Operators will be primarily working on Trumpf machines doing multi-bend parts (typically 6-12 bends). Successful candidates will have experience with machine set-up and will be used to working at a fast pace.
Under limited supervision, the Press Brake Operator will operate the following Fabrication machines:
- Amada 120 ton, 5 axis, upper drive, CNC Press brake
- Amada 80 ton, 2-way/3-way multi guide, under drive, CNC Press brake
- Trumpf 120 ton, 4 axis, upper drive, CNC Press brake
- Shear
- Punch
- Tube Bender
- Roll
- Saw
- Laser Cutting Machine
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the Press Brake Operator regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Additionally, the Operator is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Press Brake Operator:
- Read and understands CAD prints.
- Receives daily work schedule from Supervisor.
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustment.
- Uses and reads Precision Measuring instruments.
- Sets tooling and stops, and makes adjustments, in order to accomplish satisfactory quality standards on above-listed machines.
- Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling, greasing and minor diagnostics.
- Maintains quality standards throughout entire run of parts.
- Inspects first and last work piece of new setup and performs periodic inspections of parts for quality during runs.
- May run two machines based upon cycle time.
We are primarily looking for candidates for the swing shift.

Requirements:
Required Skills for this Press Brake Operator position include the following:
- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- 2-4 years of related experience and/or training also preferred
- LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- REASONING ABILITY
- Able to:
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
