Printing Press Room Manager - Clarksville, TN
Letica Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastic and paper packaging products, is seeking a Press Room Manager to join our team in Clarksville, TN.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage up to 15 Printing Associates and Supervision of multiple shifts
- Implement and monitor the processing of the customers film for quality and accuracy.
- Requirements pertaining to all matters involved with the printing, die cutting and forming of the product.
- Design, implement and monitor all process quality controls relating to the manufacture of film, plates and dies.
- Coordinate all workflows through pre press with scheduling, press, die cutting, and cup forming.
- Facilitate the total quality manufacturing process; Forms standards, methods of measurement and recording of all plates, film and dies used during the process.
- Ensure compliance with all company, corporate, local, and federal guidelines, regulations, and policies.
- The coordination and monitoring during production of the customers artwork; this includes the coordination of artwork and obtaining customer approval prior to printing, and printing plate production; this also includes corresponding with the customer pertaining to color keys, ink draws, artwork revision and final customer approval.
- Implement and monitor the processing of the customers film for quality and accuracy.
- Facilitate the Total Quality Manufacturing process.
- Form standards, methods of measurement and recording of all plates, film and dies used during the process.
Requirements:
- Prefer Associate or Bachelor Degree
- 10+ years experience in a Print environment
- Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Off Set Print Systems and Flexographic Printing is strongly preferred
