Prestige Service Advisor Job in West London, London Uk
We are currently looking to recruit a Service Advisor at a very respectable prestigious dealership.
Main purpose:
- Deal with customer requirements for service and repair in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure a high standard of Customer Service.
- Organise the loading of the workshop in an efficient manner to ensure efficient utilisation of workshop capacity.
- Carry out customer follow-up and prospecting activities to maintain and build the volume of work within the workshop and provide the sale of accessories, parts and new vehicles.
- Diagnose, wherever possible, customer problems and offer accurate advice regarding repair.
Responsibilities:
- Meet all customers at reception, agree service and repair diagnosis and book vehicles into workshop, including: Carry out road test and physical inspections where necessary and deal with all customers in a courteous, efficient and considerate manner.
- Load the workshop accurately using agreed Flat Rate Times and Customer Appointments System.
- Complete repair orders and inform customer of repairs needed, including approximate prices and delivery dates.
- Carry our customer follow up and prospecting activities, as agreed with the After Sales Manager, to ensure work continuity for the Workshop.
- Present completed vehicles to the customer, advising of future service or repair priorities and ensuring customer satisfaction with work carried out.
- Present invoices for payment by customers providing explanation of charges where required.
- Develop and agree Service Reception displays to ensure customer acceptance and promote service department, including maintaining of agreed standards of housekeeping.
- Maintain and improve knowledge of Service Technical Information through reading information bulletins and magazines, etc, and attending training courses as agreed.
- Maintain all Customer Record Files and Repair Order Registers on a daily basis to ensure accurate analysis of Service Department activity and business development.
- Maintain knowledge of guarantee procedures and goodwill claims to ensure customer claims are processed fairly and in a timely manner to maintain image of franchise products.
- Attain and maintain the appropriate level of competence in line with the Financial Services Authority regulations for the sale of insurance.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver the very best in customer service to all of our customers, ideally with previous experience in a similar role.
