Pricing Actuary (Germany; Bavaria) recruitment
My client based in Munich - Germany is actively seeking a Life Pricing Actuary. The role will be reporting to the Chief Actuary. The department you will be joining is responsible for Underwriting Standards, Risk Management and Corporate Pricing for the life Reinsurance Business.
Role:
- Development of global life reinsurance business product strategies.
- Development of global standards for the pricing of life reinsurance business.
- Heading up and participating in on-site reviews of how these standards are applied.
- Risk management for life reinsurance business such as evaluation of its pandemic, terror or credit risk.
- Support of knowledge exchange for pricing and risk management in our world-wide organization.
- Chairing and participating in working groups on these topics.
Profile:
- Outstanding academic qualifications in mathematics or a related subject.
- Actuary, ideally specialized in life insurance or risk management.
- Professional experience in pricing, valuation and/or risk management of life reinsurance business.
- Good analytical skills paired with an in-depth knowledge of all relevant work areas.
- Very good social skills and strong personal effectiveness.
- Excellent command of the German and English language.
This is an excellent role working for a Global Top Tier Reinsurer with a strong influence in the market.
The client is open to candidates from the local German Market or for candidates who are willing to relocate and speak Fluent German and English.
