The IS Sector Pricing Organization is seeking a Pricing Analyst 3 to support the Intelligence Systems Division in Chantilly, Virginia. The successful Pricing Analyst will provide proposal pricing support for a variety of new business and contract change proposals. In this position, the candidate will develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare and support Northrop Grumman cost proposals to the Federal Government, State and Local, International and Commercial customers. This individual will ensure accuracy, adherence, compliance and maintenance of estimating system.
Responsibilities will include working closely with proposal management team to assists with pricing strategy and related cost proposal activities in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications. Also, completes profit analyses for budgetary estimates and formally priced project plans in accordance with existing contractual guidelines and procedures for contract change proposals. Other duties will include/facilitate pricing reviews and provides pricing guidance to proposal and capture teams to ensure that pricing strategy is completed in accordance with sector and/or business unit disclosure statements. Communicating and coordinating with the capture and proposal team, business management, contracts, sub-contracts, and technical team will be an integral part of this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires highly motivated self starter to lead proposal activities and enhance current team and support concurrent proposal assignments functioning in a time sensitive environment.
Knowledge of cost estimating techniques and ability to interpret RFP requirements and customer direction is also required. Must be proficient with a wide range of software programs including, but not limted to, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. An ability to learn and master NG custom pricing models and modify complex spreadsheets as well.
Position requires a BS in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related discipline and 6 years of related experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Northrop Grumman policies and procedures preferred.
Familiarity with contract types, including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, Time and Materials (TM), and IDIQ contracting and familiarity with a diverse range of customers including commercial, federal, DoD, international and state and local government is preferred.
Position may require unscheduled extended work hours and non-standard workweeks.
Some travel may be required in support of proposal activities.
