Pricing Analyst Job in Dayton, Ohio US

Basic Job Function

This position exists to perform specific pricing analysis in order to support the Small Law organization.
Specific duties relate to:
1. Analyzing pricing of promotion, product and programs
2. Implementing sound pricing strategies, tactics, policies and procedures.
3. Identification of pricing issues and/or trends This position deals with issues of moderate to high complexity and requires decision making and creative solutions as well as a very good understanding of the overall business organization and functions.

Accountabilities
1. Provide consultation, analysis and guidance on pricing solutions to maximize revenue.
2. Recommend price structures and price actions that are consistent with Business Unit Objectives
3. Provide analytics in support of Small Law projects
4. Prepare training materials where required
5. Identify problem situations and questions inconsistencies in business processes and practices and propose solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications
1. Ability to complete complex tasks with little to no direction
2. Strong interpersonal skills - Must be able to work in a matrix organization and deal with ambiguity
3. Self motivation and strong initiative needed as well as strong teamwork and cooperation
4. Modeling and statistical skills i.e. Excel and database, with the ability to learn new systems and tools
5. BA/BS, Accounting/Finance/Marketing
