This role sits within ANZ's International and Institutional Banking (IIB) division, with its aim to support, maintain and assist in the development of IIB's loan pricing and credit portfolio management capability, including the provision of frontline structuring advisory and education. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse the risk/return tradeoff in pricing for Institutional lending, using economic and regulatory capital.
- Maintain pricing/credit cost calculation tools, including data feeds from rates, profitability and risk systems.
- Provide deal structuring and pricing advisory and respond to queries from front-line staff, senior management and other stakeholders.
- Develop education material and deliver training on pricing tools and principles to front-line staff.
- Assist in developing and operating data quality assurance capabilities.
- Assist with Risk, Compliance, Audit and project work.
To be successful in this role, you will possess previous experience in Institutional or Corporate Banking and be tertiary qualified in a quantitative discipline - ideally with additional background in economics or corporate finance. You will have experience using SQL for querying SQL Server databases, and experience with either S+ or R for data mining, as well as VBA programming for Microsoft Excel. You will be an excellent written communicator with polished presentation skills too. Your professional experience will have equipped you with knowledge of Basel II/III, especially around quantitative credit risk analysis.
