With new innovative model introductions planned for the Australian market, Volkswagen Australia is embarking on a significant investment in its people to ensure they set world standards with attractive, safe and environmentally sound vehicles and superior after sales service. As part of this exciting journey a new position of Pricing Analyst has being created. Your role will be to provide effective and insightful support to the investigation of unit pricing related issues that are raised and perform detailed analysis of parts pricing, you will be responsible for:
Analysis and recommendations regarding market price studies
Liaise with factory regarding price data updates as required
Work with other departments and brands regarding special requirements
Maintain price simulations in order to analyse the impact of any changes
Distribution of price data to dealer agencies for scheduled updates per brand
Routine price maintenance and review to ensure ongoing market competitiveness
Assist with system enhancements and modifications as required
Assist with the implementation of any new factory systems
Liaise with third party logistics company in regards to any issues
Whilst automotive sector experience will be valued, exposure to parts pricing in manufacturing or similar sector would be also be the successful candidate will most critically require proven transferrable technical skills, a passion for providing high class service levels and the desire to develop a long-term career plan within a formal learning and development framework.
