Pricing Analyst/Junior Subcontract Support Job in Herndon 20171, Virginia US
The position reports to the Vice President of Contracts / Director of Contracts and is responsible for the administration and coordination of activities as they relate to development and revision of pricing estimates for proposals and subcontract administration.
Specific pricing tasks include but are not limited to:
· Prepares complex pricing proposals in response to customer requests for proposals.
· Analyzes estimates of labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs.
· Works with Capture Manager in development of price strategy.
· Actively participates on proposal teams for new business opportunities.
· Ensures the timely generation of pricing submissions and compliance with solicitation requirements and established review / approval process.
· Utilizes overall knowledge of company bid-rate structure to complete assignments within extremely tight and strict proposal schedules.
· Assumes responsibility for the preparation of a fully compliant and competitive cost and pricing volume, establishing and coordinating schedules, cost/price model development, and cost narrative.
· Pricing estimates complies with company policies and procedures and compliance with government regulations.
· Coordination with the technical staff in the development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
· Update and maintain the pricing system tools (CRM).
· Analyzes entire solicitation with special emphasis on identifying and assessing risks.
· Ensures that the proposal or quotes meet the customer’s and the company’s requirements.
· Work directly with the upper Management and other departments in executing the contracting process from formation to close out.
· Maintain subcontract files in databases and electronic/paper files.
· Assist Senior Contract Managers with all facets of contract administration.
· Obtain and maintain knowledge of relevant government contractual procedures, practices, laws and regulations.
· Track subcontract funding and modifications in relation to invoicing.
· Assist with pre-award proposal audits and standard Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) contract audits.
Requirements Provide pricing in support of the elements within EWA, Inc. to provide support to all phases of the proposal process - proposal development thru negotiations. Provide subcontract support and administration on an as needed basis. Experience in all types of contracts (TM, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP). Candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment, excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills, proficiency with spreadsheets and other MS Office applications. The ability to interface with all levels of management is essential. As a team player, the successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and manage projects from inception to completion.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related discipline and 2 plus years of government contract related experience. Experience with or knowledge of the Deltek CostPoint accounting software package is a plus. EOE. Principals only.
