Pricing and Asset Specialist recruitment

 GENERAL FUNCTION

Responsible for overseeing the process of establishing new assets on the Addvantage system for Reliance and multiple outside institutions.  Also responsible for ensuring all assets on the Addvantage systems are priced accurately.

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up new assets for all security types including mutual funds via an established security model same day.

• Resolve assigned securities Insite and e-mail requests related to new asset set up and modifications to existing assets.

• Process daily asset set up files for shadow accounts.

• Establish new assets in connection with same day trades.

• Confirm all security master changes against established asset models.

• Verify that all changes to security master are thoroughly reviewed/researched before processing.

• Track daily activity for eligible vs. ineligible CUSIPS.

• Maintain accuracy rate of at least 95%.

• Refer questionable items or changes that impact multiple institutions to supervisor (tax codes, industry codes, etc.)

• Annual review of foreign securities to ensure accuracy for country codes and tax codes.

• Participate in periodic scrubbing of data to ensure accuracy and standardization of descriptions for all institutions.

• Participate in annual tax code review by security type.

• Daily review and notification of pricing variances.

• Responsible for monitoring the pricing files and the uploading of asset pricing or trust system.

• Month-End Pricing processing for Statement Production at month-end and throughout month for various statement dates.

• Perform other assignments as requested.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• BBA Degree (emphasis in Finance/Accounting) or equivalent

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt easily to change

• Ability to organize and set priorities

• Strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of securities and taxability preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Query and Access experience a plus
