Pricing Manager/ Analyst
International wholesale/retail distribution group based In Borehamwood ,Hertfordshire are looking for an experienced Pricing manager /Analyst to work as part of a small commercial team in their Head office. Reporting to the Commercial Manager.You will be supervising two staff and working closely with up to 50 sales, marketing and technical people.Key responsibilities will be to:
Drive the strategic price support process in line with the entity parameters.
Analyse the impact of price changes on other parts of the business and external competitors
Develop templates for capturing offer price positioning.
Develop,maintain and communicate pricing guidelines to the sales engineers
Provide distinctive problem solving capability through analysing internal sales and pricing data as well as external market and competitor analysis in order to facilitate more effective pricing recommendations.
Monitor,report and evaluate price support levels
Manage motivate and develop the skills of two staff
The ideal candidate will have worked as a pricing Analyst for a large/ blue chip organisation in a high volume environment and have some supervisory experience. You will be confident highly numerate with excellent analytical skills, as well as exceptional influencing, negotiation and communication skills. You will have commercial acumen and the ability to manage workloads and react quickly to changing priorities and deal effectively with sales people and engineers.
