Pricing Specialist – General Insurance recruitment
AG Insurance Services whose major brand, Budget Direct, is one of the leading providers of Personal Lines Insurance in Australia. We have over 700 employees across several locations along the east coast of Australia, and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a senior role within the Pricing team.
Reporting to the General Manager of Pricing, the main responsibilities of this role are:
- Developing modelling approaches to derive technical prices
- Reviewing models and assisting with managing the modelling process
- Developing demand models and the methodology for generating market prices
- Establishing a framework for partner pricing and pricing across different channels
- Implementing and monitoring life time value models
- Providing analytical and strategic support to business areas
Working as part of the team, you will also have the opportunity to guide and mentor junior Analysts.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with and manage stakeholders’ expectations
- Strong project management skills
- A strong academic record in a statistical, mathematical or actuarial discipline
- Experience in statistical modelling, especially GLMs for personal lines products
- SAS and Emblem/ Rate Assessor experience
- Actuarial qualifications would be viewed favourably (but is not essential)
