Principal, Private Debt Fund
Our client is a leading private debt fund based in London. They provide unitranche, mezzanine and other junior debt instruments to mid-market European companies and are part of a larger private equity and investments group. The fund is well managed and capitalised and is going through a period of growth and expansion.
They are now looking to add a Principal to their team, who will work on the origination and execution of loans for the fund. Day to day, you will work with mid size European corporates, enabling them to raise capital and strategic finance to further their expansion and development and expansion. Technically, and on the execution side, you will oversee the preparation of loan documentation, structuring of deals, credit analysis and investment execution.
We are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:
- private debt or private equity professionals, or other buy side professionals with a strong understanding of lending and credit investing
- probably at the Assistant Director, VP/ Director level
- exceptional understanding of lending and debt structures
- ideally, you will have fluency in two European languages
