Principal Air Quality Consultant – London
£34-45k depending on experience.

The client is a leading environmental consultancy with a large network of UK and overseas offices. They have built a reputation on innovation and quality of service and are looking for like minded individuals who will play a lead role in developing the business.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected, motivated team with excellent leadership and clear objectives. As Principal Consultant, you can expect lots of responsibilities that include: supervision of junior staff, project delivery, client engagement and business development.
Your role will be to provide technical and business development support to the existing air quality team and in particular, the management and delivery of air quality assessments as part of Environmental Impact Assessments, individual technical studies, or for regulatory purposes.
The project workload will be varied and include;
- Environmental Permitting work,
- EIA component studies,
- Odour assessments.
- Transportation-related assessments,
- Ambient air quality monitoring studies.
- Expert witness experience is desirable, but not essential.
The Candidate
We are ideally looking for an Air quality specialist with proven experience within an experience in environmental consultancy. Specifically, you should have experience in the use one of the following dispersion models; Breeze Roads, Aermod, ADMS Roads and ADMS for assessing the air quality impacts of road traffic and/or industrial sources.
Personal attributes to the successful candidate will include enthusiasm, adaptability, commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
