Principal Business Analyst recruitment

Markets and International Banking (MIB) is the investment banking arm of the Group, offering a broad range of services enabling major corporations and institutions to achieve their global financing, transaction services and risk management objectives. MIB meets clients needs by bringing together capabilities including debt capital markets, international transaction services, FX and rates, as well as providing balance sheet advisory and structuring. Solutions are developed and delivered by committed experts with deep client and sector knowledge.      

The Trading Products Finance Change team has responsibility for the delivery of a number of front-to-back and cross-functional programmes of work on behalf of MIB Finance and the wider MIB business community. Our main Finance customers include Business Unit Control, Ledger Control, Statutory Reporting, and Regulatory Reporting. The team has a mix of professional programme and project managers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. We work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, responding and driving the work of upstream project managers and IT, as well as managing change to the Finance system architecture in conjunction with Finance IT       

As Principal Business Analyst, you'll work across a range of front-to-back and strategic finance programmes, particularly focused on the emerging markets business. These programmes are responding to the demands of internal stakeholders from multiple functions across the FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities) businesses, in order to support strategic growth, revenue generation and improved control and efficiency.          

Ideally as Principal Business Analyst ,you'll have experience in current operating model documentation, target state operating model documentation, business requirements gathering, systems integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing and implementation. Product knowledge of the following would also be highly beneficial, interest derivatives, credit derivatives, money markets, foreign exchange, fixed income and futures. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you were a qualified accountant with financial reporting experience, including experience working within balance and ledger systems and front to back change experience.
