Principal Business Development Officer

1.    3 Year Fixed Contract

2.    $104,634 to $112,197 p.a.*

3.    *Includes superannuation and leave loading

 

Some of the key responsibilities are to:

1.    Assist the Manager, Business Services and Planning to develop, implement and manage frameworks for strategic, business and operational planning, program and project management and associated reporting for QSA including key performance indicators.

2.    Perform a lead role in the development, management and coordination of budgets and high-level financial reporting ensuring that financial activities are completed in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

3.    Analyse and provide accurate and timely advice in relation to strategic funding issues including financial matters related to the delivery of archival services to the public (including fees and charges, receipting, invoicing and debt collection).

4.    Manage and monitor service level agreements and contracts related to the delivery of ICT and financial services to QSA.

5.    Manage relationships with DPW corporate services including the Information Services Directorate and Finance Directorate to deliver strategic priorities.

6.    Coordinate the financial planning and reporting for the acquisition, maintenance, upgrade and disposal of departmental assets at the Runcorn archival facility.

7.    Identify and implement planning and reporting systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement at QSA. 

8.    Oversee the delivery of financial and administrative functions including travel, motor vehicles and procurement planning and implementation.

9.    Represent QSA at key stakeholder meetings

10. Research and prepare complex reports, ministerial correspondence, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence on a range of corporate issues and represent QSA on committee and working groups as required.

11. Manage and lead a team in the achievement of outcomes.
