Principal Civil Engineer $215k
Whilst a lot of your time will be spent managing approximately 20 - 30 engineers, you must currently possess a strong reputation in the industry for successfully shaping long term and repetitive client relationships.
The rest of your time will be heavily involved in high level technical implementation of the tricky issues and variations on existing and future projects.
There will not be so much of a micro managed focus on bringing new clients in the door on your part but it's imperative that you are able to coach these skills to the engineers and drafters that will be under your Management.
