A senior professional with extensive life insurance experience is required for the development of business and technology enterprise solutions.

You will be the in-house business expert for Life Insurance software services and implementations. As the primary point of contact for the Life Insurance consultancy, it is a mandatory requirement that you demonstrate significant expertise in this area; you must have an infallible level of knowledge around methods, procedures and business workflow in this business domain. Example of your background: you may have managed technology implementations as a Project Manager or perhaps managed a Life Insurance administration centre with more of a business focus.
Responsibilities include:
- Provision of Life Insurance expertise and knowledge to internal external clients.
- Dealing directly to senior client representatives (e.g. system architects, business architects, C level).
- Direct management / mentoring requirements for staff on implementation projects
- Work alongside designated internal Project Manager offering business knowledge and support
- Legislation / regulatory changes: analysis of impact on Life Insurance systems.
- Provide Support for Implementation Projects, including Preparation Planning.
- Pre-sales and interaction with clients for new opportunities: must have strong credibility
- Manage a team of Consultants/Analysts
- Coordinating with external clients, Service Delivery Managers and the Sales team.
- Become involved with Key Sales Proposals
Skills required include:
- Extensive expertise / experience in LIFE INSURANCE: ESSENTIAL
- Typical experience: Project Manager; administrator/user of Life Insurance systems; integration consulting, business management
- Competent communication and presentation skills: essential
- Experience with Group Life: major advantage
- Technology exposure and knowledge particularly with agile and/or waterfall: strong advantage
- Prince II certifcations: advantage.
- Managing small teams of up to 5 or 6: desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self sufficient, highly motivated, resourceful individual
- Be a problem owner and solver with a logical approach to solving issues
