Principal Consultant/ Consulting Manager
The client’s Consulting Unit serves clients globally through delivery of world class technology services, enabling clients to achieve their desired business outcomes.
As a Consulting Principal, you will demonstrate a strong command of the full breadth of client engagement skills, including providing leadership in the account planning cycle, and establishing relationships with customer’s at the most senior levels. You will lead by example with an emphasis on leveraging the breadth and depth of organization in solving clients business problems by "doing what is right".
Responsibilities
• Consulting responsibility for the assigned accounts, including business development and delivery in a matrix environment
• Gain trusted-advisor status with the CIO and other CXO-level executives such as the CFO
• Lead cross-functional teams of professionals to solve customers’ most pressing IT issues through all phases of the engagement lifecycle
• Lead the development and execution of Consulting sales strategy for assigned accounts in conjunction with the consulting Sales team and the account AGMs to meet the assigned order targets
• Identify the issues in accounts and conduct workshops to advance the opportunities through sales cycle
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in appropriate computer/business related fields, masters preferred
• 12-15 years of total professional experience with 10 years in a single industry
• Experience in a Big 4 or comparable consulting/advisory firm in a similar capacity
Experience and Skills
• Experience in developing, shaping and negotiating large professional services deals
• Experience in driving account plans in a collaborative matrix environment
• Significant experience in at least two of the following:
- Delivering strategic IT consulting/advisory at the corporate level in Fortune 500 companies
- Planning and/or advising on Enterprise architecture
- Comfort in dealing with CXO level executives across all functions of a customer's enterprise
• Other required skills include:

oStrong financial acumen
oDemonstrated leadership in a team setting
oDemonstrated ability to deliver results with large-scale and cross-functional teams
oExceptional project management skills
oSuperior communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
• Knowledge of portfolios including Consulting, Technology Services, Software, and Enterprise Services is desirable
