The role of Principal Consultant is provided to those recognized to have an exceptional balance of technical expertise and business development acumen, and the drive to take a direct and active role in business development and client relationship management. Principal consultants will have a significant and ongoing impact on growing and enhancing client relationships while maintaining strong billable utilization.
Through direct project delivery and engagement management, the principal consultant will ensure high quality delivery of Neohapsis services. Working closely with the VP, Risk Security Services, the CEO, and the business development organization, the principal consultant will be an active participant of the account relationship team by building on project successes to identify revenue growth opportunities and additional areas for assistance within the target client(s).
As this is actively tied to the ongoing growth of the client relationship, the principal consultant will be assigned a client revenue goal that will be monitored in addition to his/her billable utilization. Additionally, the principal consultant will be an active participant in profiling the client organization, and build key relationships with key client personnel in the information security, risk management, IT, compliance and other departments that may be able to leverage Neohapsis products and services.
Primary Responsibilities
* Provide strategic information security advisory and risk advisory services for targeted enterprise clients
* Identify and pursue services and software sales and growth opportunities with targeted enterprise clients; as identified, work with sales personnel to grow client relationships and revenue
* Manage sales opportunities within the Neohapsis business development and opportunity tracking processes (Project Roadmap, SalesForce.com, etc.)
* Scope security engagements and support development of proposals and statements of work, effectively translating customer requirements into engagements to address those needs
* Provide trusted advisory services to enterprise customers
* Serve as the primary engagement manager for projects and engagements for targeted enterprise clients
* Translate business, industry, and regulatory requirements into risk management objectives and associated tactical/strategic initiatives
* Participate in the ongoing development of Neohapsis service portfolio and methodologies
* Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, including completing client engagements and thought leadership activities
