Principal Design Architect Job in Republic Of Ireland, Teleworking Ireland
The role will involve developing optimum solutions designs for the BI/DWH area. The Principle Service Design architect needs to have in-depth technical knowledge of their area. As well as this they must be able to communicate their ideas and influence peers and managers to adopt their solutions. Principle Design Architects need to work closely with strategic vendors, adopting a partnership approach.The ideal candidate will have:
o Good communication skills, capable of managing Vendors
o Significant service provider experience
o Has held a key design or architecture position previously
o Demonstrate a balance between conceptual ideas and day to day practicalities
o Ability to deliver deadlines and solutions within objective led parameters.
o Drive a commercial focus in vendor interactions
o Commercially aware, able to understand and communicate in common business terms such as financial projections
o Extremely credible influencer of business stakeholders, fluent in both business and technical language and terminology
o Able to explain complex technical issues in simple language
o Track record in implementing architectures or systems that have driven improvement in business performance
o Superior project management and prioritisation skills
o Up to date with current and future development in the IT and telecommunications industry and able to demonstrate how these can be applied for business benefit
o Exposure to and application of architecture and system standards such as 3GPP, eTOM, TOGAF
