Principal – Direct Investments | Global Private Equity | Hong Kong, Asia recruitment
As part of my client's plan to move and do sizeable transactions within Asia particularly Northeast Asia, I am looking for a Principal who has a proven track record in his current role and bring it to a larger platform and lead a team in executing significant GP transactions in Asia.
If you are currently in a Top Tier, Global Private Equity house as a Lead Investment Professional looking for a higher profile platform with greater responsibility (handle a team, execute multi million deals), this opportunity is for you and I am currently looking to fill this position ASAP.
Main responsibilities:
- Be a LEAD in Multi million deal transactions
- Be one of the first senior professionals to join the Global Private Equity team and hit the ground running for what's planned by the firm for this year and next
- Play a crucial role in the research, analysis and evaluation of a variety of investment opportunities
- Oversee the development of complex dynamic financial models to analyze investment opportunities (including testing assumptions and sensitivities). Bottom up and macro research skills.
- Oversee the full life cycle of the deal process
- Play mostly a senior or lead role in due diligence on possible investment opportunities
- Review 3rd party due diligence reports
- Meet with clients and company management closely
- Be a core member of a pioneer team in Asia who is already building a solid reputation
Key Requirements:
- At least 7 Years Experience in Direct Investments in a TOP TIER and Reputable Global Platform
- Experience in a Global GP, Proprietary Fund, Sovereign Wealth Fund or Asset Owner – is a strong advantage
- Degree in Banking/Finance/Engineering/Accounting in a Highly Recognized Institution and a CFA, MBA are required
- Has developed a track record within Asia and have significant executions in well – known transactions - must have had led teams in large deals
- Very furnished skills in the deal life cycle
- Experience in handling and motivating a team
- Candidate must be based in Hong Kong or have the permit to work in Hong Kong
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin is a prerequisite
