Due to growing needs, Peabody Energy has created a vacancy for an experienced Principal Electrical, Controls Instrumentation Engineer to join the Brisbane major projects team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Projects, your responsibilities will include:
- External reviews of site critical risk activities
- Incident and accident investigations
- Custodian for PEA Electrical standards on all projects
- Custodian for automation and control system philosophy and support on automation projects
- Technical assistance to Procurement during sourcing of specialised electrical equipment
The successful incumbent must be prepared to travel to site on an as needs basis.
To be successful for this role you will have a relevant tertiary education and significant experience working within mining or heavy industry in a similar role.
