Westwood Partners is a retained executive search boutique focused exclusively on the financial services industry. Since its inception 10 years ago, Westwood has grown to over 30 people in New York, becoming one of the most successful boutiques in the US.  Westwood seeks to replicate its success globally and has launched an Asia-Pacific subsidiary headquartered in Singapore.  We are looking for a Principal to lead the research and execution of all searches, new business pitches and consulting assignments launched in the Asia-Pacific region.  The research responsibilities include candidate identification, organizational mapping, competitive intelligence and market analysis. The Principal will also be responsible for the execution of the end-to-end search process, from screening and sourcing candidates to conducting candidate interviews to closing candidates and managing client relationships.

The Principal will report to the regional head and work closely with our New York-based Research team to leverage firm resources, best practices and approaches.  The Principal role is a key hire who is excited to create a regional business and can act as a second in command.  The ideal candidate is able to work in an environment that fosters strong partnerships, creative problem solving and direct communication among colleagues.  The position requires 5+ years of professional experience with at least some portion in financial services executive search.  The role requires in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its various sub-sectors so candidates with relevant industry experience would be the most likely to succeed.  Interested candidates should submit a resume via email to fs@westwood-partners.com.
