This opportunity will allow you to use your Experion experience along with your hardware, software and customer service skills on site. If you have worked with Honeywell Experion systems in the past we would like to speak with you.Responsibilities include:
· Maintain and troubleshoot Honeywell TDC/ TPS and PKS, DCS equipment
· Maintain and troubleshoot Hiway based equipment and LM's/Triconex/FSC's
· Implement and Admin TPS EPKS Domains, controllers, switches, peripherals, etc
· Support Honeywell FTE, and Microsoft Technologies
· Troubleshoot, repair, system problems using standard test equipment and hand tools
· Support client server architecture
· Perform upgrades both hardware and software
· Assist clients with third party vendor communication to our systems
· Administer preventive maintenance on controls systems
· Support Power to equipment such as motors, transformers, breakers and relay's
· Observe Function of installed equipment or system to detect hazards
· Repair and troubleshoot control and signal circuits and Identify discrepancies
· Program code logic and troubleshoot existing code
· Support and troubleshoot LAN / WAN communications
· Provide power on support of new and existing installations including grounding checks and proper application
· Document electrical and process drawings (PIDs, Interconnect, Panel, etc..)
· Perform audits and baselines of installed systems as a deliverable as well as for migrations and trouble shooting
· Able to obtain a TWIC card
Basic Qualifications:
· 3 years technical support experience with Honeywell Experion DCS or TDC 3000
Preferred Qualifications:
· BS Degree
· 4 plus years of Field Process Experience
· 10 years DCS experience with no degree
· Strong electronics background
· Work with electronic test equipment
· The ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
· The ability to assimilate data quickly, resourceful, and work well in an unstructured situation
· Capable of meeting customers demands while working on multiple projects with various deadlines
· Comfortable in a power and petro-chemical plant work environment
· Demonstrated effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
· Comfortable with being the lead support person on site
