Principal Identity Management Solutions Architect

Solution Consulting - Identity Access Management: includes consulting with Business Partners to define requirements and develop solution alternatives and estimates translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture and assuring the integration of Identity Access Management solution architectures. The Principal IAM Solution Architect will lead solution direction and new solution selection and design for KP Identity Management systems including identity data management solutions, provisioning and deprovisioning solutions, and identity and access audit/review/governance functions. Essential Functions: - Supports large complex programs or national strategic initiatives, with up to $100M budgets, multiple sites or regions, or up to 20 integrated work tracks. - Provides complex integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall corporate and business goals and meet KP Identity Access Management requirements. - Ensures the review and design concepts for new systems and develops and documents the technical design for the integration and implementation of the software. - Oversees the development of plans for integration of new systems architecture into current infrastructure. - Directs the development of comprehensive and strategic business cases with cost/benefit dimensions of proposed projects and programs that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions. - Ensures the appropriate business process assessment and analysis is completed to identify business process gaps and impacts as they pertain directly to projects and programs. - Strongly influence the business by demonstrating a clear understanding of the business needs and the technologies that can be used to appropriately accommodate their requirements. - Responsible for the content and quality of the functional requirements. - Directs and ensures planning and coordination of KP Identity system release requirements. - Consults and directs identification of alternative uses of technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems and that support overall corporate and business goals that are appropriately aligned with the enterprise architecture. - Keeps abreast of leading and emerging software products and technologies as well as industry standards to support KP/healthcare business. - Compares and evaluates the design and capabilities of multiple system components (e.g., architecture, network, operations and communications). - Leverages knowledge, expertise and experience to facilitate the development of robust client solutions. - Directs strategy development for release packaging decisions, risk evaluation, and alternative solution design for large projects/programs, national initiatives with cross portfolio implications. - Oversees or acts as project lead in the coordination of solution development and the implementation of the final product/service. - Acts as a liaison between senior and executive business clients and technical staff and/or with development staff throughout the development life cycle on complex projects. - Provides leadership and direction to senior and executive clients in consulting, planning, and marketing of multiple, complex automated systems. - Provides strong partnership with senior and executive clients on best practices on KP and KP-IT business strategies and how to best structure large-scale automation and business projects. - Coaches as appropriate. Acts as a resource for lower-level staff. Provides reviews and monitors work products of lower level resources. Provides on-the-job training on techniques and methodologies at lower levels. Provides knowledge transfer as appropriate. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field and/ora minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience. - A minimum of 15 years of experience in solutions consulting including defining requirements, developing solution alternatives and estimates and translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions. - A minimum of 8 years of experience in Identity Access Management solution consulting, design, development and implementation including at least identity access provisioning systems (Oracle Identity Manager, IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, etc.) and identity data integration solutions (directories, meta-directories, etc.) - A minimum of 8 years general information security experience including risk assessment, secure solution design, security requirements development and security standards development. - Highly experienced at negotiating and collaborating with key project leaders to identify subject matter experts and resources necessary to complete the process of information discovery and understanding of the business needs. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree. - Hands on experience with design, integration implementation of identity access audit/review/governance solutions such as Oracle Identity Analytics, Aveksa Compliance Manager, etc. - Hands on experience with design, integration implementation of Role Management functions including those of Oracle Identity Analytics and similar products.
