This is undertaken on the basis of substantial own funds and is complemented with high net worth friends and family co-investors without any of the restrictions, such as a defined exit period, which would normally emanate from the classic private equity funds.
There is an advisory/capital markets placement business arm of the our client that is primarily set up to grow opportunities for third party clients and to assist the principal investment division. In an environment where bank financing is restricted, they see a unique opportunity to provide innovative and fast debt/equity solutions in Europe.
The buy and build approach of principal investments ranges from thermal coal mining in South Africa through to distribution platforms of Korean mobile applications into Europe, distribution of educational content in non-English speaking countries and agribusiness in sub Saharan Africa.
Our Client is interested in hiring a group of associates, primarily in London, as well as in Germany and Luxembourg. We believe we can provide a unique learning and entrepreneurial environment in a business which has the potential to become a leading European alternative finance provider with global ambitions.
The ideal candidates will have:
- Three to six years of experience in MA advisory, Leverage Finance, Equity Research, or Private Equity,
- Must have excellent spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
